Receptionist - Bilingual
The Bridge is seeking a Bilingual Receptionist who will provide quality customer service to all clients, donors, agency stakeholders and staff to create customer focused and professional environment; while providing administrative support.
Additionally, the receptionist will greet callers, obtain reason for visit, take details and inform relevant staff of visitor’s arrival. Restrict access to facility to ensure only authorized personnel enter the facility after regular business hours; i.e., support group members, counseling clients, donors, etc. Monitor safety of the building by viewing camera feed. Maintain comprehensive booking system for meeting rooms and equipment, agency snack and other departmental needs; utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail system.
The Bilingual Receptionist will assist the Executive Manager with overflow work by typing letters, memos, handling e-mail correspondence and contacting board members. Perform varied clerical and administrative duties for other employees, including but not limited to, sending faxes, collating documents to make blank client files, copying and collating new hire packets for HR, assisting with triage procedures for the non-residential department, as necessary. The receptionist will also sort and date incoming mail, and distribute mail to relevant staff. Maintain professional environment for front office by ensuring cleanliness and order in visitor lobby and ensuring the cleanliness and order of the children’s entertainment area.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with training set-ups, which is to include but not limited to; setting up the projector and laptops, troubleshooting technical issues, providing Wi-Fi passwords and making copies, as necessary. Assisting in the hotline, non-residential and human resources department as needed.

- Schedule:
- Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri: 8 am - 5 pm (1 hour lunch break taken at noon)
- Thurs: 8 am - 12 pm
- $31,200 annually, $16.67 per hour

Required Skills & Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED required.
- Must have a working knowledge of MS Office suite of programs, specifically MS Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Bilingual; English/Spanish

- Must pass criminal background investigation check
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to lift/carry (40) lbs, and ascend/descend stairs in emergency shelter setting.
