The Bridge is seeking an Administrative Specialist is a versatile and dynamic role that supports various departments within the organization, including the Admin Suite, Shelter, Advocacy, Development, Volunteer, and Finance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive attitude. This position requires flexibility as the schedule and duties will fluctuate frequently.

- Full Time/Non-Exempt: 36-hours a week
- Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 8am - 5pm
- Wednesday 8am - 12pm or 1pm - 5pm.
- $33,696 annually

This position requires flexibility as the schedule and duties will fluctuate frequently.
Job duties include:
Admin Suite:
- Provide reception coverage.
- Provide general administrative support within the admin suite.
Development and Volunteer Department:
- Receive and follow up on donations, ensuring accurate record keeping and donor communication as needed.
- Assist with preparations for special events and fundraising activities as needed.
Finance Department:
- Perform data entry tasks, filing, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of monthly donation records as needed.
- Timesheet review, corrections and filing - adhere to firm deadlines for financial reporting and documentation.
Shelter:
- Assist with hotline duties as needed, providing support and information to callers as needed.
- Document and report hotline activities as required.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for clients, volunteers, and staff.
- Communicate effectively with team members across all departments to ensure cohesive operations.
- Adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities as the needs of the organization evolve.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to alphabetize materials and place in appropriate files.
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, push/pull and life files in and out of cabinets.
Other Requirements
- Must pass criminal background investigation check
- Must provide and maintain current TX Driver’s License
- Must provide and maintain current auto liability insurance
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to lift/carry (25) lbs, and ascend/descend stairs in emergency shelter setting.
